Edward D. Riedlinger retired from GMAC Commercial Mortgage in 2006 after having been employed by the company and its predecessors in some form for the preceding 29 years. He had served in many positions during his nearly three-decade tenure, beginning as a loan analyst in the income property loan division and finishing as the managing director/regional manager of the firm’s production division.

is journey toward becoming an executive with one of the world’s largest commercial banking firms began at Niagara University, from which he graduated with a B.S. in commerce in 1971. Ed spent two years in the Army, earned an MBA at the University of Connecticut,reluctantly turned down a teaching offer at Niagara, and ended up in the Philadelphia area, where he still lives today.

Ed is a past president of the Delaware Valley chapter of NAIOP, the commercial real estate development association, and served on its board of directors for more than 10 years. Today, he remains active in many similar organizations in the Philadelphia region.
