The Alumni Connection

NU’s alumni are always happy to meet with current students to share their experiences.

Washington, D.C.-area alumni John R.D. Celock, '03, president of the Celock Media Group and editor of The Celock Report, and Jason Pope, '03, an assistant chief counsel with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, joined Kevin Hinkley, '05, criminology and criminal justice instructor and co-pre-law advisor, and students Molly Smarr, Crystal Borynski, Carley McMullen, and Tabita Saraj for dinner during the annual Pre-Law Student Association trip to Washington. The two alums talked about their careers with the students.

At left, Jenna (Coons) McDonnell, ’10, returned to Niagara University in October to discuss women in legal practice with the assembled Niagara University Pre-Law Student Association. She shared her personal experiences of law school, internships, and her current work in the legal practice with Gibson, McAskill & Crosby. Pictured with Jenna are Dr. Peter J. Baxter (left), NU pre-law advisor, and Kevin Hinkley, ’05.
